Easy Nail Art Trick!

Hi ladies!! This rainy Thursday has me cuddled up inside all day long, so I figured why not try some fun, easy nail art? What I did to my nails is simple and easy to do, and it doesn’t take any longer than painting your nails all one color! So what exactly did I do? Sally Hansen’s Salon Effects Real Nail Polish Strips have been out for awhile now, and I’ve used them a few times prior, but I don’t use them too often. For $9.99 a package, I’d probably rather get a manicure once than apply these on my nails once. But these strips are super … Continue reading Easy Nail Art Trick!

My First Attempt at Ombre Nails!

Good morning everyone! Last night I saw how chipped my previous manicure was, so I decided I needed to paint them! But I didn’t want to paint my nails just one color, so I started thinking of some easy ideas that I could paint on my nails. That’s when I realized there was always one nail art look I’ve been meaning to try but never got around to it; and that look is ombre nails! I love the ombre look. I’ve really been wanting a mint color, so I picked up their Brilliant Strength polish in shade 190 … Continue reading Revlon Brilliant Strength and ColorStay Nail Polish!

Trend Inspired Nails Take 2

Remember the trend inspired nails I posted about two days ago? Well, unfortunately after only two days of polish, my nails were completely chipped. Funny thing was, the nails with the Essie Chinchilly polish on them, which costs $8 per bottle, were the nails that chipped, and the nails with the nail art polish from Five Below, which costs $5 for five different colored bottles, were the only two nails that didn’t chip! I really liked the stripes on my nails. I think it’s a very simple look, and it can easily go with many different colors. After painting my remaining nails … Continue reading Trend Inspired Nails Take 2

Trend Inspired Nails: Black and White Striped!

Black and white striped skinnies are a huge trend right now; so many celebrities are being spotted in this awesome, yet simple, trend! When I saw Hilary Duff spotted in this trend, I thought she nailed the look so perfectly, and she inspired me. I just had to do something with this trend! The only problem is that shopping for pants is always extremely difficult for me. Being 5 foot 11, most jeans I try on are too short. I have yet to find a pair that fit me correctly, so I thought to myself, why not put the trend on … Continue reading Trend Inspired Nails: Black and White Striped!
